Last year, we spent a day at the beach on our fourth day in St. Ives, England.
Actually, we spent the day visiting the various museums in St. Ives. One of the main attractions we enjoyed is the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. The museum was originally Ms. Hepworth’s living and working studio. She died tragically in her studio from smoke inhalation from a fire within her home and studio. The sculpture garden is a lush green oasis from the streets crowded with tourists. The statues are strategically placed so they can be found or seen from a specific vantage point. I’d like to return to St. Ives to explore the town and walk along the sandy beaches.
