While most of the population celebrated the new year on January 1 (myself included), Chinese people around the world welcomed 2014, the year of the horse, today – January 31 (myself included).
The new year is a great way to start fresh, which is why I appreciate the fact that I can start the new year twice. The first start to the new year, January 1, is kinda like a trial run especially when I make resolutions, and commit to them upon Chinese New Year.
One of my resolutions for 2014 is to write more. I’ve signed up to participate in National Blog Posting Month for February. So stay tuned for daily blogging. Wish me luck.
